З усіх днів останньої седмиці в народній традиції виділяється Великий, Страсний, або
 Чистий, четвер.Цього дня весь будинок прибирали до блискуючої чистоти. На Чистий
 четвер необхідно підготувати до Великодня своє тіло, тобто ретельно вимитись, особливо
 це стосується дітей та хворих, адже вода на Чистий четвер змиває усі хвороби та захищає від
 негараздів.
